Before the letter, I have a few requests:
Interviews. Who would you like me to interview? I will also share potential guests/ideas in mind, so if you can connect me with specific MOAs (@translatingTXT and @304verse I love you) I’d really appreciate it!
Moots. Are you someone who loves TXT and want to speak with me (personally, texts, or audio)? Do you have moots who’d like that? Please get in touch. You can add me to group chats, communities, send me links, or anything.
Resources. If you are looking for resources (e.g. streaming, voting), please ask me or any MOA. We will share everything we know. If you are an expert in something, please get in touch so I can share your efforts or we can collaborate.
Art. If you are a MOA artist, please let me know if you’re interested in a project I’m working on (lyric book with fan art illustrations). If you know great fan arts & artists, please let me know, so I can get in touch with them!
Design. If you know InDesign/Canva/etc., I’d love your tips (different publications) or your help.
What’s better than to be in a community full of kind and helpful people, who all work hard to promote and share their love for tubatu!
Dear MOA,
October is here, which means I am another year older.
When I say Yeonjun and I are the same age, I am not kidding! He really feels like a best friend to me - someone I see often, can call at any time, and just talk about anything. We all know he is full of love and energy and go far and beyond to take care of the people he loves, including MOA. I have so much to say about Yeonjun, but I want to save the chance for the future. By then, I will finish a magazine feature-equivalent version for Yeonjun, our Healing.

Speaking of magazine features/writing, I want to share something personal. In the rare chances I meet TXT and become friends with them, I want to tell their stories and their journeys in a way that do them justice, be it a book (with approval), series of magazine features, or interviews.
I don’t know if I am the most qualified writer to do this, but I know I will understand TXT and MOA’s perspectives as their peer, their friend, and their partner (TXT and MOAs are partners, don’t you think?).
I don’t know how that will happen, but I believe in the universe and the following passage from the Upanishad:
You are what your deep driving desire is
As your desire is, so is your will
As your will is, so is your deed
As your deed is, so is your destiny
To MOAs reading this, I’d like to tell you that no matter what you do, you will accomplish what you truly want, because you will go above and beyond, work so hard so that the universe will tilt in your favor. Our best example? Tomorrow x Together. That is what they wanted to say with Sweat, right?
Personally, this means I will continue to work hard like the members, enjoy the process, and savor the harvest. As a MOA, I will take care of myself, excel in my field (which is honestly so fun, like how tubatu love their career), and do my best to support TXT, enjoy their efforts, stream/vote/buy.
But I think playing a role in the community is even more important, whether it means meeting moots, checking in on people (if you feel sad/down, get in touch with me or any MOA, please please please!), creating spaces to be together (online and offline), and making the community better. I am excited to do all of that.
In the distant future, I want to open an ice cream store/café/bakery for TXT and MOA. It will be a hub for people to connect, eat delicious and nutritious food, and enjoy time together. We will host events like streaming sessions (To Do, concerts, comeback, and other content), as well as celebrations of all sorts. I’d love to have TXT member-inspired items (maybe they will visit and shoot TO DO there, who knows?!) and special merchandise (calling on fan artists!). Maybe it can be a TXT store, where you can browse albums, content, order merchandise, or even trade photocards! When the time comes, please visit and I can treat you to ice cream.
All that just to say, I think TXT is really special. We are still early in the process (three years honestly aren’t too long in K-pop nowadays), so we still have so much to do with making Moaville a safe and healing space. But of all the communities I know (I prefer this name over fandom), we have the best shot at that.
Maybe I will look back in the future and laugh at how naïve or stupid I may sound, but this is what I think in 2022 and this is what I really want to achieve. Either way, I have ONE DREAM and I am working towards it. I think that is an awesome thing to do in life.
With much love and excitement for the future,
Michael
P.S: In the future, I will write about my journey as a MOA and my experience writing Moament. I will also share project ideas I have – calling on help and encouragement! There will be more interviews and there will be more community events, such as a fan art exhibition. Stay tuned – I’m trying to get back to writing more often!
